And now, the fine print...

COVID INFORMATION:
1. No while-you-wait or in-person repairs for the foreseeable future. I'm not really equipped to check for fevers or anything like that, and since I've had people come to my house with the flu before and not tell me until we're halfway through the appointment, I'm just not in the mood to take any risks.
2. I do accept drop-offs. Contact me for a time to drop it off on my front porch. Do not drop off your instrument without first contacting me and arranging a time.  I am not responsible for lost or stolen instruments.
3. You can also mail your instrument to me. FedEx does home pickup, and so does the U.S. Postal service.  Please send me the tracking number so I can keep an eye out for it.
4. Before dropping off or mailing, please wipe down your instrument with alcohol. Don't use bleach because that doesn't evaporate as fast and can damage your instrument. For instance, the chlorine in bleach causes springs to rust quicker.
5. Please note, upon receiving your instrument, I will let it sit in my designated quarantine spot for 3-5 days. (Don't worry, it's indoors in a controlled climate and safe from feline investigation.) Once the quarantine period has passed, I will open it up and have a look and get an estimate to you.
6. Once your instrument is finished, I will wipe it down with alcohol, let that evaporate, put it in the designated spot to quarantine again, then contact you for payment. Once payment is received, we can make arrangements for pickup or return shipping.


I will continue to monitor the situation, and confer with my colleagues on safety protocols. I will do my best to do my part to keep you safe and healthy, and I'd appreciate it if you'd do the same for me.  Thank you.

No Sunday appointments.
Sunday is a day of rest and will be treated as such.

No-shows are NOT rescheduled.
If you do not show up for an appointment without prior notification, you will not be rescheduled.  My bench time is very limited, and each appointment receives my full attention.  When someone does not show up for an appointment, it means that not only do I lose money, but someone else was unable to get the repairs they need.  Please consider carefully before booking your appointment.

Payment for repairs is due upon pickup.  No payment plans available.
I take cash or credit/debit cards.  No livestock, please.  I am not responsible for instruments left for more than 30 days after contact regarding completion of repair.  Any instruments left for longer than 30 days after completion of repair will be given to my cat as a scratching post and/or sold to recoup the cost of the repair.
